Dave Werden's website - problems?
For the past few weeks I haven't been able to access Dave Werden's euphonium website. Just a few photos of Dave and a blank page come up. Nothing seems to fire it up. Is it just me, or is there a general problem?

They made some changes on their site - see below quote:
"Dear Forum Member,
You seem to have been a member of the "old" forum on my website. If you would like to re-join the new forum, you will have to RESET you PASSWORD first. The system imported the old passwords but will not be able to recognize them because they are all encrypted (and the new encryption is different from the old). However, it is not hard to do. You'll find complete instructions here:

Looking forward to seeing your posts!"

Re: Dave Werden's website - problems?
The changes to the website have absolutely NO effect on the ability to ACCESS the site, only on the ability to log into and post in the forums.
I haven't bothered resetting my password, and other than the week back in Aug the site was down for the changeover to v-bulletin, have not experienced any difficulty or problems with the site on any dozen or so computer and web-enabled device that I've used since then.

Re: Dave Werden's website - problems?
The site is up and working, and as far as I know has been stable. Could you please give us the address of the page you're trying to see?
The changes referenced in this thread are to the forum, which was in the /talk/ folder. If you are trying to go there, it SHOULD direct you to the new location, but I may have missed disabling an old forum page. The blog has also changed locations. It used to be found in the /blog3/ folder. Now, both the blog and forum are contained in the /forum/ folder. Anyway, try to start on the home page (http://www.dwerden.com" target="_blank" target="_blank) and see how it goes.
The entire site has been moved to a different server, but it is still found at http://www.dwerden.com" target="_blank" target="_blank. However, that means that the IP address of the server is different (since around Sept 1). It's possible your Internet Service Provider has not picked up the change yet, which would mean their address database (DNS) is horribly out of date. If so, you may need to contact their support dept. to get them to wake up their DNS server.
Let me know how it goes. Thanks!
