Bydlo in Pittsburgh
Anyone make it to the Pittsburgh Symphony performance of 'Pictures at an Exhibition' last night? I think it was Peter Sullivan (principal trombone) who did a very nice job doubling on the euphonium. The part really sang. I have no idea what kind of horn he was playing (I was in top row balcony!) but it had a very rich sound.
