You can buy it from Kalmus Editions. Not expensive. You should also be able to find a copy of the Torchinsky Orchestral Parts, Volume 8, available from all the mail order sources.

Very cool. I couldn't find it via any other sources, but I'm going to try this Kalmus Editions. From what I'm aware of, the Torchinsky books of both Prokofievs and the Stravinsky are out of print. Where would you order these?

Thanks,
Biff

SInce they are out of print, due to copyright restrictions (hint...) of the music included, you'll have to find someone who has them and wants to sell them.

Alternatively, you could buy the part from Kalmus, or find a score and write out a couple of excerpts, which shouldn't be enough to violate copyright. Buying the part will be your best route. Also, I think that's in a couple of other excerpt books, and the Cherry Classics collection.

The problem is, I looked on Kalmus, and it isn't there. And I'm sure that no one would sell their copies of vol. 8, 9, and/or 10. So where do I go from there. I have an excerpt or two already (from the low etudes book, etc) but would like to play along with the whole symphony.
