Hi All,
I have enjoyed going to the performances of the Pacific Symphony. I didn't know this until after I read the program but the principle tubist is Jim Self. What a treat! Mr Self is the reason I took the tuba up again after 35 years.
My question is this. Who is sitting in when Mr Self is not playing with the symphony? There is no mention of another Tubist in the program.
Thanks for the help

Two possible names: Fred Greene and Doug Tornquist. There may be others, but those are two likely candidates.

Thanks for the help guys.
You are both right. I just spoke to a representative of the P.S. and she said that they are indeed Gary Hickman and Fred Greene.
Thanks, Jim
