Heavyweights

Post by Alex C »

Had some friends visiting the other day, some real heavyweights in the tuba world.

Dude! You should advertise these things next time. I'll bring some home-smoked meat to the party.

Your friends are tubas?

There is a video on YouTube of Carol Jantsch visiting Interlochen and one of the students asked her what she named her tubas. Her answer was "Yamaha" and "PT6".

To let others in on the comment: My 70 pound dog knocked my Nirschl over, got his feet caught up in the tubing and danced on it while knocking it against a footstool. The tuba is mostly healed and still plays great. It's taken some time but all is forgiven.
