mic for recording tuba

Neumann 184 or on a budget Rode NT5.

I like recording with an AKG C414, and for live sound reinforcement I like to use a Shure Beta 52.

I've used an Audio Technica 3035 for years, both live and recording. I've never had any complaints. It has been my go to mic for many different situations over the last 10+ years.
