York BBb Helicon

Post by Frank Ortega »

Has anyone discussed this horn yet?

Is this an original helicon? Or did someone just slap a York Monster Bell onto a Conn 14 or 38k?

Thoughts, anyone?

Its my horn .It is really a York with an early conn valveset (ser #104xxx i believe). You can see where the braces for the original valveset were. The body is thinner brass than any 14k or 38k .

Cool, where are you located? And is the Bell original to the body?
