You could just get a Heisenberg compensator, build a wide-azimuth, narrow aperture transporter, and "beam away" the too-tall grass.

Don't three piece stainless steel mowers weigh less than the older 1 piece brass mowers?

Hire,Borrow or Barter a smaller lighter lawn tractor for the boggy bit for a one time cut in the hope of dry weather to come.
