New Brass Quintet Available From Cimarron Music Press

Post by trombonemetal »

Frank Gulino's "Legends of the Pacific" is now available from Cimarron Music Press.

Premiered at the Kennedy Center in March of this year, this two-movement piece was subsequently performed by the Clipper City Brass Quintet last month. A video recording of that performance appears below:

A brass septet version of "Legends of the Pacific" debuts this summer at the Endless Mountain Music Festival and will also be available from Cimarron Music Press.

That is very nice, especially the tuba. Seth Horner?
I am fortunate to have a great job that feeds my family well, but music feeds my soul.

Seth Horner indeed. Between playing tuba in CCBQ, working on a DMA, and appearing fairly regularly with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra over the past couple of seasons, he's been a very busy guy.

If you haven't had the opportunity to hear him play in a solo context, here's a recording of him performing another Cimarron title: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FyoPUvGs0lY" target="_blank
