Did it come with the base-table as well? I hope so as I just bought 3 of them. This is a great price.schlepporello wrote:Mine came in today! I stopped by the house to take a quick look at it and so far, I'm impressed. We'll see if I'm still impressed when I get home tonight and try putting it together.

I would doubt it. That is just a section of a bleacher showing one possible use. These things have fully adjustable legs with the idea that they can be set up in many different situations, including bleachers and such so that you don't have to set the sousas down on the ground, concrete, dirt, or risk them falling through an open bleacher. But, I could be wrong and it would be pretty cool if it came with the base table.mctuba1 wrote:Did it come with the base-table as well? I hope so as I just bought 3 of them. Thanks and that is OK as these look pretty good especially at 50 bucks.Chadtuba wrote:I would doubt it. That is just a section of a bleacher showing one possible use. I just bought one of those. I'm sure I can find a horn to put on it!

Re: eBay-cheap Yamaha sousaphone stands!-$50!
I received my Yamaha sousaphone stand today. I had my doubts for $50 but I can say that I am rather pleased with it. I'll continue to use one of the old Hamilton 'X' type stands for sitting and playing the 'Jumbo' but the Yamaha stand will come in handy if I need a convenient place to hang the horn while taking a break from holding the horn. Facing the horn as pictured, the yoke on the left side is just right to enclose the shoulder tube. However... the yoke on the right is a dab too small to properly support the shoulder tube. It works but it would be nice in that yoke was about 1/2" larger to better encircle the tube. The stand works just fine on my smaller sousaphones.
