Hi,
Does anyone know what would be the modern equivalent to this mouthpiece?
Thanks,

Perantucci PT-88. Or... buy an old style Rudy Meinl 10, or Bruno Tilz 10. Lee Stofer has them in stock, usually.
Hope that helps,

Re: Old PT 10 mouthpiece?
My band director had this mouthpiece. Maybe I should call him up and try it on my 188... Anyway, this thread may help any readers who want a better list. I have this thread bookmarked. viewtopic.php?t=41237&p=358423" target="_blank

Re: Old PT 10 mouthpiece?
The old-style Perantucci 10 was a Bruno Tilz M-10. In earlier days, the Tilz mouthpieces also were seen as stock Meinl-Weston and Hirsbrunner mouthpieces, most often the M-1. The Rudolf Meinl Rm-10 is still in the original shape of the Tilz mouthpiece, whereas the newer Perantucci offering, the PT-88 is the same rim and inner dimensions in a thicker, more bulbous external shape.
And, Rudolf Meinl offers an option not seen elsewhere - if there is a dot or period after the number, this indicates that this mouthpiece has a slighly enlarged venturi, normally by .2 mm. So, a Rudolf Meinl RM-10. has a slightly larger venturi opening than the normal RM-10 and this is the case for other Rudolf Meinl mouthpieces, too.
