Hey guys and gals, I'm visiting a relative going thru chemo next week. My wife and I are staying in a little town called Dunlap, between Chattanooga and Nashville. We are going to be there from July 2nd-5th and when I get back to Seattle have to start Ring Cycle rehearsals. I'm not taking a horn because of the hassle and we are focusing on family-time on this visit. However, if anyone has a CC or even BBb that they'd let me borrow for that time to keep my chops together I'd be grateful. Either a rental fee or some sort of quid pro quo might be worked out. If not, I'm not sweating it. My main focus is family on this trip so am limited by those concerns.
Thought I'd ask and thanks in advance,

The Sewanee Summer Music Festival is going on now, not too far from Dunlap. Could be an opportunity there, either a school owned horn or someone who would let you use theirs? I don't know anyone in particular, but one of my sons is a student at the University and is in the orchestra, and he would know who to reach out to, if you want to pursue it.

...and besides, it's arguably the most beautiful college campus on this continent, well worth the drive and time there just to enjoy being on "the Domain of the University of the South".

Thanks for the generous offers. Was really looking forward to coming but another medical emergency with a family member in Seattle has forced me to cancel the TN trip.
Tubenetters are great folks and I appreciate the offers. Maybe next time under better circumstances.
Thanks and best regards,

Hi Chris,
I was about to offer to drive down to Dunlap and lend my BBb in exchange for an informal lesson when I picked it up when I saw that two other Tennessee members had already emailed you. . .this can be a great group when we aren't arguing . . .
I, too, hope all in your family return to wellness. You ought to visit Dunlap sometime do a canoe float or whitewater trip. . .although I just came back from Seattle/Spokane and it looks like you all have some great stuff like that out that way, too.
