Re: Question for MW 2141 (Eb) owners
Look up the topics about the older and newer ones; the older ones are said to have messed up intonation though I don't remember the change over number. The few I've played have all been fine. That's actually the horn I wanted for my unit but the valve angle was very uncomfortable for me.

Fulerzoo, I am curious to know your comparison ideas regarding the Kanstul 66T and the MW 2141, even though the piston configurations are side vs upright.
Thanks, Walter

My 2141 serial# 06xxx does not have the intonation problem you describe.
I love the horn, though I wish I had bigger hands for the big valves.

Re: Question for MW 2141 (Eb) owners
I sat down with my 2141 and put in some good quality time this morning paying close attention to pitch and checking my instincts with the tuner. Can't say I have any of the intonation issues you or others have described. This horn is a nice fit for me and threads the needle quite well.
My s/n is on the lead pipe, reads 0060xx, and I'm playing with a PT-65.
Also, I agree with Teubonium that the big valves are a work out. I removed the thumb ring and found the horn much more comfortable.
