How can they do that???
Hi everyone, I'm on the Tube net site and advertisements for fenders and fiberglass for my trike appear on the side and top of the thread!!How can they do that ?? this site is miles away from my music sites...Does everyone see what might be geared towards me?? Does Big brother know everything???Is everyone having this problem but with what they are looking at on different sites??It's very confusing and a little scarry...sure hope they don't advertise other certain sites that might be a little riska'e or others that are down right lude<S>I don't want anyone else to know just how depraved I can be haha.....Shhhhhhhh don't tell my lovly wife Amy<s>..BB

Your computer collects information about the Web sites you visit. The ads you see on here (and other Web sites) are dynamically generated -- your computer sends information to the site, and then it gives you ads that are supposed to be relevant to you, and higher-interest based on what you've viewed in the past (so, everyone sees different ads).
Honestly, I'm not sure that I've ever clicked one of those ads except by mistake. Even if it's something I'm interested in, I'll just type in the address and go there on my own.
