This little beauty arrived in the mail today, a V. Barcone Eb souzy!
I was too lazy to take my own pictures yet, so I just have the main image from the ebay auction I bought it from.
It actually plays with a pretty big sound for something its size and is loads of fun to play.
Now that I finally got my hands on one, I'd like to know more about the brand in general, so any info anyone has would be appreciated. I did an advanced search, which didn't turn up much.
What I already know:
-They were made in Italy (not sure exactly how long ago)
-They were sometimes branded 'Concord Cadet' or 'Chriss Kratt'
-They were made in BBb and Eb as well as some Bb baritone sousas
-I've seen trumpets and clarinets branded V. Barcone and trumpets, trombones baritones and flugelhorns branded Chris Kratt But I havent seen any other horns branded Concord Cadet.
Thanks!

I will claim no expertise on Barcone sousaphones, but several samples are represented in my brass gallery (link in my signature). There also are scans of a flyer.
So far I only have heard about Chris Kratt instruments made by Hüttl, which was one of the German companies in Kraslice before the end of WWII.
