I found this one tonight and I had never seen it before. It is from a live concert recorded in Germany or Holland back in the 1970's. The solo is not the "Go Down Gambling" version recorded on their album, this is a much longer solo from the song "When I Die" that finishes as a duet between tuba and harmonica. Very cool! The tuba player is Dave Bargeron.

He looks to be using a BBb Besson compensator - is it a 3 valver or a 3 + 1?

It's a 3+1 (you can see the fourth from behind), it does look like a Bb.

I think it is a Besson New Standard 3+1 Bb
Cant carry a tune but I can carry a tuba.
