Does your tuba have a sweet spot? It occurs to me that the Eb below the staff is an incredibly beautiful note on my 188 CC. Soft or loud, hard attack or slurring to it from somewhere weird, that Eb (fingered 23) is always perfectly in tune and has overtones for days. It seems like the slot for this particular Eb is incredibly deep and if I get anywhere near it, I fall right in. Not complaining about the other notes on the horn - they're great too (except bottom space Ab sometimes... but that's due to my lips). Also, doesn't seem to matter what mouthpiece I use.
If there is a "perfect" note on your horn, what is it (and on what horn?)?

On my Besson Sovereign 967, if I fingered high A as 12 and lipped it just right, I could match the resonant frequency of the bell, causing it to ring. Kinda the same, right?...
