A new potential Tuba's friend !

Post by manubande »

Hello everybody,
I'm not sure how it works with this forum, anyway I just thought that I should introduce myself as a
new member of the TubaNet's forum !
I do play some wind instruments, years ago trumpet, now trombone, didgeridoo, flute, shakuhachi flute
and some percussion !
Now I thought my next (big) step would be the Tuba which I consider the father/mother of all brass
instruments !
I must tell you that I'm very exited about it and would like to use the Tuba, after getting use to it (the sooner the better :-))
for some special project I have in mind !
It's been a little while that I did surf around this website to collect as many information as I could about Tuba and I must thanks
all of you for the amount of information I did collect !
The reason why I've decided to register to this forum, now's coming the truth, is that I'm looking for a special Tuba's mouthpiece,
the G&W Jon Sass, I've checked many website that selling this mouthpiece but honestly speaking the price is a bit high for me so
perhaps I could be lucky and find one used with a better price from someone in this forum, is there anyone that is willing to sell one of the G&W JON SASS MOUTHPIECES ?
I wish a nice day to all of you ! :tuba:

Hey MB,

Thanks for signing up and being a participating member, that's cool and I hope playing tuba works out well for you.

On another note, it might be best if you post your wanted to buy stuff in the "For Sale" forum, it's not hard to do, and it's how most sites like this do stuff. Note I'm not a moderator or anything, just trying to help you accomplish what you are after!
