The 2J is a little guy, ~14" bell. Is this your horn?

So any opinions about an eb 2J conn? I love it only problem is low Bb ( 1,3 combo) everything else is fixed with a little lipping on the low end. False tones are good just operator errors right now. Plus I can over power two Bb horns. The reason for the question is that I am thinking on adding a forth valve and replating the horn silver and
redoing the valves ( local repair guy commented that they were still pretty tight despite visible wear and can play clearly almost as fast as my cornet). So basically is this horn worth putting money into?

Thanks bloke for the replys. Haven't been able to post pics yet. On the bell were most of the wear is. I am thinking on doing some spot plating in those areas. Sound like the horn is considered average, so that helps on what will be happening with it.
