dreams come true

Post by Alex C »

I was at Lowe's today when my S/O caught me staring wide-eyed, not at another babe but, at a stack of lumber. It was the most beautiful lumber I've ever seen. Tears came to my eyes.

If you are interested, you can see similar wood here :

Millions of tuba players have always hoped.... but never dreamed it would really happen.

Ahem. Uh, I guess this makes me a true tuba nerd, but I actually have a picture of myself and my mom (a fellow tuba player) in front of the mill.

Karl,

OLD GUYS? Whaddaya mean "old guys." Hey, my tuba is older than I am. Geez. You've gotta be thirty years younger than the tuba you play everyday.

My license plate was "TUBA 4" on an earlier vehicle. Everyone thought I was in the lumber business. :?:
