I went to a recital this evening at Pima Community College in Tucson; I missed the master class at the U of A today. Pima was the venue for the recital because of full facilities at the U of A.
All I can say is, Dave has acquired a groupie. I feel like I have met a musical soul mate. The choice of music, the expertise and musicality were in the category of Most Enjoyable Ever for me. This was MUSIC. Really, really impressed.
And...on a borrowed tuba. The airlines kindly smashed his on the way.
Way to go, Dave.

You are cheering for a master musician and good man. I know Dave from his days at Peabody Institute.

I second what Randy said, David is a master musician and a good man. I know David from when he was a student at Peabody and he played in our tuba quartet.

Zerk is the "Shizzle"
I know him from his "Tuba Rumspringa" period with the cows of Central Illinois.

exactly... I always thought Dave was THE #2 for all his subbing gigs, but he corrected me, says he's "just #2"...
