That'll learn ya.
It didn't learn me. I've been in North Dakota for almost 6 years now and my next stop will be the Minneapolis area.

Disney passes nothing. He keeps it all for himself.

Had a German gig Friday night, a Dixie gig Saturday morning, another German gig at Noon on Saturday, and my Dixie group did a Mardi Gras parade Saturday afternoon.

Iced in today so a rehearsal across the river has been canceled. Dang!

Just finished watching The Golden Gophers beat UNLV and Ohio State in the National Pom Championship. How's that for being desperate for something to do! Guess I'll go practice. :(

I was recently struck by how good and healthy Jane Goodall still looks !

I love near the end how the chimp gives Jane a really warm hug.
Yeah... she's not bad for an old broad. I'd go 'ape' over her if I was 90!

I especially like the shot at 2:41.

I hear you man. I was looking at the site the other day when my 8 year old granddaughter walked in and I about had a fit trying to get off here before she saw the adds. It's a bummer. I have been able to get some aid with add block though. Edit - as soon and I hit the button to post this up jumped the iDateAsian add. Sean - do something.

In high school, a friend of mine (now a biologist PhD) wrote a term paper titled "Jane Woodall -- That Other, Less Hairy Primate." :D

If Sean charged everyone a membership fee to cover the costs of running this forum plus a few bucks for his trouble... maybe he could do away with the add promotions and make ends meet.

I'd be willing to pay a fee. I installed Google add blocker and it worked for a while but no more. I am now seeing AT&T. Not ideal but better than before.

Yeah... I'm not sure what triggers all the ads but I see one now for a 'Maxi-Vac Tube Cleaner'. As soon as I clicked to post a replay and ad for 'ChnLoveDate' came up in the right margin.

I'm not positive how everything works but I think the ad package just comes with the territory and is partly paying the bills. The more 'hits' a website gets, the more money that is made.
