For Sale: a black lacquered Yamaha YBB-103 3/4 BBb tuba.

$800 plus shipping



This horn was worked on and black-lacquered by Harv Hartman before he passed.

Not the prettiest horn out there but very functional. There are dents and scratches. I have used this horn on many strolling dixie gigs. It plays as well as you would expect one of these little puppies to play.

Sale includes an almost new Taylor 1004 3/4 nylon gig bag and a hard case with a nice set of large Badger State wheels. I will post pix of the cases soon. The gig bag is pristine; the wood case is structurally sound if not cosmetically pretty.

The horn is located near Reading PA.

this would be a nice horn for a young student. He/she might even think the black was cool.... I had it blacked out just for something unique or different.

I don't know if she'll go for it, but I'm going to try to convince the wife to let me get this. I want a 103 and the black just makes it that much sweeter, especially since I already have a black trombone

bumping this back up here. I have used this horn at my elementary school for the past two years so it has a few more dents but still quite usable for a young student.

I am lowering the price also to$800 plus shipping.
