Un-Public-Domain Orchestral Excerpts

What are some famous Orchestral Excerpts that are, as of 2014, still not public domain?
I know a couple but I'm not sure on the specifics:
-Shostakovich Symphony: No 5
-Gershwin An American in Paris

Moussorgsky/Ravel- Pictures at an Exhibition
Janacek- Sinfonietta, Tarus Bulba
Adams- Short Ride in a Fast Machine
Vaughan Williams- Symphony 4
Prokofiev- Almost everything except Piano Concerto 1
Shosty- everything
Britten- 4 Sea Interludes, Young Person's Guide
Kodaly- Hary Janos
Bartok-Concerto for Orchestra

Anything by Ravel, who died in 1937, or Hindemith, who died in 1934, would have to be checked. This includes a considerable number of important pieces, and since copyright protection differs in the US, EU, and Canada, the answer could be quite long.

Anything by Copland or Bernstein would be protected anywhere, and these are also large bodies of work.

hemiola section (clock ticking is how I like to think about it), forte-plus pedal C held out for a few bars, proper counting. There's a good number of things. It was also on the Philly audition that Ms. Jantsch won.

Uhm, I'm pretty sure Hindemith died in 1963.

Correct, don't know why I wrote that. Hindemith's stuff will be protected for some time to come in most locations.

There are many, many works with notable tuba parts that are not in the public domain.

Here's a link to a simple chart explaining when works fall into the public domain. This should get you started but is not the final work in copyright law, etc.
