A White Spring Break?
What's the deal out in Wayne's World(Amarillo)? Don't you guys know it's not supposed to snow during spring break in Texas? You're even infecting the rest of our big state. Why today's forecast high in San Antonio is 53! And the forecast for tonight is 40! And it's raining, too! What's the deal? This is making one of our brotherhood feel the chill. Last week it was 80+.

Through most of January and February up 'til now, it's been clear and sunny with temps in the 60's. For the year, LA has gotten twice as much rain as we have. The ski runs have all pretty much given up for the winter and shut down. The forestry firefighting outfits are very worried about summer.
This is supposed to be soggy wet moldy mildewed western Oregon.
We're supposed to get some rain this weekend, which is when our spring break starts. But we're down about 30 inches from a "normal" year, so it isn't going to help much.

Here in Lower Alabama,we are distressed that there have only been three days this winter that the temperature has dropped below freezing.That means few bugs froze over the winter and it will be a buggy summer.
Six months after the hurricane,many restuarants are open for the season
but very few bars survived.The beer joints that still exist are off the beach and are packed now and will be overwhelmed when the tourists get here.

-20 C = -4 Fbairdo wrote:Where am in Ontario, we have 5 feet of snow, and the temp is like -20 C (sorry if you Americans don't know Celcius but i don't know Faenheit) for the most part. We got as low as -40 C about a month ago. Why does everyone complain south of the border when they get a little snow or it's too cold. Just live up here for a year and you will not only want to kill yourself from boredom, you'll also be used to winter weather.
-40 C = -40 F
F = (C * 9/5) + 32
C = (F -32) *5/9
If you ever have trouble remembering it, 212 F = 100 C is a goo refernce to make sure you have the proper formula
