I believe the 2260RA is actually Herr Brandstotter's signature model.

The bottom notes were fuller than usually, so at first I thought it was a small CC.
Seeing it in the catalogue makes me see a similarity (bottom bow through bell throat) to my own Besson 981 Eb from 1999. As I get it MW makes the low brass Besson models for Courtois. Could it be that the bell and bottom bow of the Brandstötter model are made on tools used for the 981?

When designing this horn, the 5th and 6th valves are deprndent, or in the 4th valve slide. This allows the airflow to be smooth.
