Or a replacement receiver?

Wouldn't the inner step bore rather indicate the latter?

Receiver... meant to be soldered over the end of a leadpipe.

Is this a standard supply like from Allied? Or is is a custom one made of two telescoped tubes?

This is the version Allied is currently selling. The older ones looked the 'Christmas tree' Conn style. All are turned from solid brass. ... not multiple pieces of tubing.
