Ballet Giselle

Post by itai »

Hiya folks,
I'm performing this work by Adolphe Adam in the next weeks, and I was wondering if anyone here had done so before. (Also, if anyone has any idea on how to get the sheet music for it I'd be grateful.)
Since it's a very early romantic piece I'm certain it won't go below B, (3 valve F era?) however due to it being a large symphonic work I still tend towards playing it on a C than on an F, but I'd love to hear tips/recommendations from anyone.

And if all of that wasn't enough to put you off - just about it's only distinguishing feature is that is has a long viola solo in it.....
