Brass ensemble works

I have a brass group set up now, however, I dont have a French horn, but the thing is, I have a Euphonium player, but some of the scores dont include Euphonium, but includes French horn. I just cant find any site that includes Euphonium. I was thinking about transposing the horn part for Euphonium, but I am not sure about the range of the Horn VS the Euphonium. Any help is appreciated.

It's a possibility, assuming that the euph player has sufficient range to accomodate the part. Personally, I don't like the sound of the euphonium substituting for horn as much as I like a trombone or even an English baritone horn doing the same. Another alternative is Eb alto horn (British tenorhorn).

Many of the PJBE "Just Brass" charts allow for substitution for the French Horn. Some very good arranging in that series, BTW. Also, if you check out http://www.sheetmusicnow.com, the quintet charts by Mogens Andresen provide for much substitution in the lower voices.

Still can't be rid of those consarned trumpeters, though!

I think you may be disappointed by the "intermediate" CB books. You may have better luck with the "advanced" ones; the selection is more interesting:

Here's another thought if you're short on funds:

Jerry Lanning has a Sibelius Scorch music site with some very accessible and inexpensive (or free) charts. The quality is pretty good and this would at least give you an opportunity to hear and look at music before you purchase or download it:

Thanks for showing me, but for some reason the scorch plugin wont download, and when I click on the acctuall title of the music, it doesent open, but constantly freezes on me. I dont know what to do then, unless for some reason it works somtime in the future.. I will have to see how it goes in a while. Thank you though for showing me, and I will keep trying.

What system platform and browser are you using? I've been running Scorch on various versions of Windows and a few browsers (currently Firefox) almost ever since it came out with no problems.

I am at the local Library, an d the music website works here, but when I do order the music, will it be through the a PDF file, or will they ship it out by mail?

Neither--the Scorch plugin prints directly to the printer--and doesn't let you print to a file--unless you've installed something like the Ghostscript Redirector app.

If you're ordering from the Sibelius Site, the parts are instant download - you will need to print them after you've paid. Alternatively some arrangers might send you paper copies - but this would cost more.
