Seems to be the case with most tubas... especially tubas made in Europe where you almost never see a CC tuba.the elephant wrote:The BBb 163 generally has much better intonation than the CC version.

Are you referring to the rapid expansion after the tuning slide? My mirafone 184 CC seems to be gradual in this area. The image is here in a manageable size
