Beversdorf Sonata

Post by jdltuba »

Hi all,

I'm currently working on the Beversdorf and had a quick question: what is your choice tempo for the second movement? I've had people tell me anywhere from 76 to 90 and heard recordings of 100 or more. Just curious.

Thanks!

The piano part to the Sonata is three times as difficult as the tuba part. Your accompanist will earn every penny of the payment you offer.

Both Alex and Bloke are absolutely correct. The piano part is difficult, making even FINDING a pianist more difficult.
