So I just finished attending the TBA convention in San Antonio Tx, and while there I had the chance to play on a Meinl Weston 2250TL (I currently own a MW182 F). I absolutely loved the horn. Everything about it was fantastic. The low range/"cash register" even came out easier, louder, and darker than on my PT20 CC tuba!
I'm not thinking I want to buy it though, I don't have that kind of money... but then my girlfriend suggests just that.
I'm now sitting at home... with a sold PT20... and a new Meinl Weston 2250TL showing up tomorrow.
I'm not sure how to process this day...
Extremely happy though!
I just bought a tuba... wait, what?

I agree Bort!
And Bob, I wasn't planning on it but that's what it is looking like. I've always sounded and played better on F tuba over CC so I'm really excited about this change! That being said, I might consider selling the MW182 in awhile just so I can get a CC to have around just in case.
