any one use the Sear Etudes for tuba book anymore ? I working my way toward the end of the
Tyrell book. I am looking forward toward working on the Sear Etudes book.

I have both the newer, nicely printed version and the early one which was in Walter's manuscript. There are many errors in the old version and peculiar tendencies, like incomplete measures which are then completed on the following line. I like playing out of the old one more, probably to see the quirks. They are solid etudes in various styles, meter, keys and they exploit the outer ranges for a contra bass tuba.
