Hello,

Does anyone in here know how I could establish some kind of contact with Charles Turner Jr. ?

The only information I have about him :

He did wrote a doctoral dissertation in 2000 about the :

Six trios pour deux cornets à pistons et ophicléide basse ou cor à pistons (1846) op. 104 by Jean-Baptiste Schiltz a performance edition.

A dissertation (...) Doctoral music Arts.

Greensboro 2000

Apparently Charles R Turner Jr. was the director of the wind ensemble at Berea College in Berea KY until this year. You might contact the music department there and see if they can help you.

Google pulls up a Facebook and LinkedIn page for him... maybe those will be helpful.

I also found and sent this LinkedIn profile.
This profile contains the same DMA reference and mentions that he studied Tuba with Doc Askew at UNC-G.
Doc Askew is the other person I'd start with when looking for a contact, after connecting to him on LinkedIn.

Bad news in that, is that it doc Askew tried to contact him this summer without success...
So I sent something over LinkedIn, and let's hope the best !
