What's the best way to get this from usa to UK?

We're looking for economical, ease of drop off and I'm in no rush for it...

I have used Schenker for 5 of my imports from the US. They are good about insurance. You may save a bit by fetching the parcel at their terminal.

I hope you are aware you have to pay VAT of the combined sum of goods, transport, and import tax.

That's right, Harv sent my 20k with Schenker.

What's the deal on the US side? Do they pick it up etc? I drove down to Heathrow to get it, which was fine...
