the sousa's mic'd through Ableton Live, which has an effect and an auto-filter, the LFO rate of which is controlled by the PS3 controller. I just got the sousa, a Conn 40K, from MrBasseyPants (thanks man!) the fourth valve is so great. for now, I'm hoping to get a bunch more licks down, bring in a drummer on an electric kit, and have a jazz trombonist play throughout, with equally neat effects. We'll see where it goes...

I've got no comment on your experiment, but your sousa looks like hybread.
I think thats a 22" 32K bell on a 40K body.......COOL !
AND if I'm wrong, you still got a 40K......also COOL !
It's a 24" bell....if it isn't an original 40K bell it's been with it a while....it is aged identically to the 40K body.
