Yes, acoustics are helping.
Yes, the Yamaha Eb is a great axe. You can do almost anything on that horn.
Yes, that guy sounds great. Acoustics + axe = about 3% of that clip. Hard piece, and he's working it. Good on him.

The 321 is a great tuba! I have wondered why Yamaha has never redesigned it with a front action valve set......
