Best day to visit Elephant Room at TUSABTEC

Okay . . . I know there are going to be some good jokes after that thread title, but I do have a serious question.

I haven't been to the conference in years, but I seem to remember that the "Elephant Room" was only open during certain times/days, and there was a time when all the vendors cleared out. I want to see/buy some new items, and wondered if there is a best day/time to visit the Elephant Room. I have limited vacation time, so I'm trying to keep my visit to a day trip.

Friday. Err body bas off on Saturday, so its way more crowded. Some things get sold on Friday too, so there might be fewer tubas there on Saturday.

If you wish to spend a good deal of time in the exhibits, Fri. would seem to be best. If you want the "time economy" version, Sat. morning might work for you.
