YEB 621????

Post by efer2014 »

Has anyone ever attempted to convert a 621 F to a 621 Eflat??? I had a piston B&S F for a while that had a set of E-flat slides and it was overall a really nice instrument. Now that I'm getting older, an eflat that size would be an awesome little instrument.... I love my 321, but I HATE top action.....

Several people have converted a 321 to front action:

As for the 621, I suspect cutting CC to Eb would be easier than trying to lengthen an F, but I'm not sure....

I've been on the lookout for a cheap YEB-201 for a while now....If I find one, I would like to rip out the guts and have 4 front action valves installed....I guess patience is the key...
