other than the recent winner for the Vienna position, I been listening to some of his stuff and he's pretty darn good. And I thought he had an especially clear, centered sound. But that's because he uses a big euphonium as an F tuba but no really he does have a good centered tone.
(and that's not the best representative picture of him but just wanted to post it because it was funny)
That Yamaha F 821 tuba he plays is certainly interesting as well! It looks like an oversize bell 621F with more ergonomic valveset rather than a small 822F
PS: It might be the angle, but it looks just slightly different in the valveset than the model F 622 that Roger Bobo had. Perhaps it is that Yamaha changed it ever so slightly and then adjusted the model numbering.
