Monster Eb with 3+1 Comp valves

Post by bububassboner »

For those of you who tinker around with tubas a lot,

Has anyone here put a 3+1 Comp valve section on a Monster Eb like a Holton or York before? I hadn't thought about it before but I will end up with all the parts needed to do this in the next week or so. If someone here has done it before I would love to hear from you about it and or see photos of the finished product.

Thanks in advance

You will find that, if you do this, it will make the horn more stuffy.

If you end up not doing the project, let me know. I need a York Monster Eb bell!

This is what I was looking for. Can you share details on what you did?
