Always sad to hear of someone's passing. He certainly had a long and accomplished life. I only hope that he remained in good health and spirits until the end. RIP.

The thing I remember about Joe N. was the model railroad he had built in his apt/studio at Lincoln Towers when I took lessons from him in the early 70's. I thought that was pretty cool.
Nice man, fine player. I feel lucky to have taken some lessons with him. Regards, Eric Hult

Don Harry informed of Joe's passing. Don said that he last talked to Joe on December 20 and Joe sounded fine. Joe passed at the very end of December. So, hopefully it was fast and he did not suffer.

Joe was an underappreciated player.
