VMI 5198 for Sale

Post by Lukowicz »

I'm looking into selling my VMI 5198 and Walt Johnson Flight case sometime soon. The horn has had a Bob Reeves Valve Allignment and a self-centering tuning trigger added by Kanstul earlier this year. Initial price is going to $8000 for both. Horn is located in Los Angeles. Feel free to email me with any questions, and pictures will be up shortly.

Did you feel the Bob Reeves made siginificant improvement to the playing of the horn, to feel the need to include it in your ad?

Having the valves aligned made a huge difference in the way that the horn plays. The up-stroke was off on all the valves using the factory pads, as well as the down-stroke. The resistance of the horn went to virtually nothing once I had this done. Highly encourage having this done.
