Never gets old, thanks for making me watch it again. :)

I think of him as a younger, Austrian, and modern-humor version of Dallenbach. It's pretty hard to compare tuba players though.

I saw them play in NYC a few years ago -- the music was even better than you would expect, funny as hell, and LOUD. And not just the "when you all play in tune it sounds louder" kind of loud, like the "blowing the crap out of it AND in tune" kind of loud. Highly recommended.

I met Willi briefly afterwards, and true to their style of dry, self-deprecating humor, when I told him that I am a tuba player, his reply was "oh... well in that case, I apologize that you had to sit through that."

I made the mistake of sitting in the 4th row when I saw them live. I kid you not, you people in the front were covering their kid's ears... It was that loud.

But Awesome! I would totally go see them again.

@8.52... Saw and felt this happen live....

Last week in Houston, he was playing on what appeared to be a silver, screw-rim bell version of the MW.

I saw them play in Chicago a few years ago. Their opening fanfare thing was so perfectly loud I think my brain froze!
