Haha! You used a Helicon in an orchestra? What's the part like? Got any pictures of this five valve Helicon? I'd love to see it! Still have it?

I don't mean sound daft and unhelpful, BUT . . . if you can't find a part any place, I really think the part is easy enough that you could listen to a recording, work out the notes and write the part out - IF YOU HAD TO (I'm just sayin').

I also think your Helicon will be perfect for that piece. It's not Bruckner or Prokofiev, but it's still a great work! - probably Weill's best.

Joe...that helicon is stunning!!! Still own it? How does it play? Wow!

Thanks everyone, this helps a lot. I was asked to play this and I've got a bunch of other stuff from now through then. Got a full program the weekend before that includes Rite of Spring (1st) and I was just curious what the part was like before I bit off more than I can chew. Sounds like it's not a big deal, so I've accepted.

For rhe copyright police...they'll be sending me the original part which I will be performing from regardless if someone had sent me a copy of the part.

Glad to hear others have played this and it sounds like a fun part!

Thank you, all!
