This horn was made in around 2004 and is in good condition. It shows marks of use and has cosmetic flaws typical of an instrument of its age and "occupation" as a field instrument. The finish shows some scratches and dings, and there is a noteworthy dent (pictured) on the rear bow of the horn that will have no affect on playability.
Playing wise this horn is fantastic. Intonation is all around very good through the range and there is very little backpressure (as is typical for a Kanstul horn). Valves are in great shape and show very little to no finish loss. All tuning slides are freshly greased and move freely.
Horn comes with two coffin-style cases, one for the body and one for the detachable bell.
