FS: York/Rusk F tuba

Post by pierre »

Now at Dillon's. $2,995

I'm selling this wonderful tuba I got a few years ago. Included is a hard case, a Gard gig bag, and an extra leadpipe without the 5th valve. Located in the Philadelphia area.

Here's the post from when I bought it.

Hey that was my first F tuba! A couple notes need an alternate fingering or slide pull, but you could spend a lot more on a worse F tuba. A great first F tuba.

And I am yet another former owner, having sold it to bububassboner. Don't let the size fool you, it really projects and is an F tuba version of the characteristic York sound.

I could be mistaken, but this looks like one of the Getzen G-60 prototypes that Rusk made... Is it?

Is it just me or is the bore on this sucker look huge? Like the size of the F tuba I used to own, and Buffet claims it's a "6/4".
