Post by Dave Roberts »

Cats that own the (Conn/Helleberg) 7B...is the rim flat or slightly rounded?

The Conn 7B is slightly rounded as compared to the Conn/Helleberg which is fairly sharp.

Current 'stable'... Rudolf Meinl 5/4, Marzan (by Willson) euph, King 2341, Alphorn, and other strange stuff.

That's why I was confused. Why is it called a Conn/Helleberg 7B, then?

I don't think that Helleberg necessarily means the rim is supposed to be flat. I own two vintage Hellebergs and neither rim is flat.
