King 2341 Valve Guides

Post by Edbnuts »

Hello everyone,
I've been playing a new style 2341 for about 13 years and I'm looking for information on how metal valve guides replacement is performed on this horn.

Thank you in advance.

Bloke assumed you want to replace the metal guides with plastic ones.

However... reading back through your original posts, I have further questions:

1) do you have metal guides and desire putting in Nylon ones?
2) do you just want to replace your current metal guides?
OR..
3) do you have Nylon guides and desire to put in metal guides?

I have original metal guides and am not sure in which direction I'd go in choosing replacements. I was more interested in the process because I could not tell how these guides were removed. I have since been told you simply unscrew them. At this point all I need are the felts and this got me to thinking about the guides.
