Dave Gannett's Yakkity Tuba sheet music

Post by sactubaguy59 »

Does anybody out there have any suggestions on how to get the sheet music of Dave Gannett's Yakkity Tuba?

I know he was on this forum in 2005. I have sent him a request also.

I have checked all the normal websites.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

Search "Benny Hill". It's there in several keys.

He likely didn't write anything for it originally.

I'm pretty sure Steve is right. If you're not aware of it the tune was a big hit way back. It was called Yakety Sax and a guy named Boots Rancolf played it. I'm sure you can find it on YouTube and just learn it by ear. It's really not that hard. Best of luck to you. Ed

Every man has to know his limitations.

Better get used to it, kid.
